The medical requirements for an HGV/LGV Licence is identical to that for PCV: DVLA D4 form must be completed and a medical examination must be passed when first applying for your HGV Licence at 18; then a further medical examination at age 45.
A restricted bus Licence can be obtained at age 18 (route and distance restrictions apply). A full bus Licence can be obtained at age 21.
If you wish to apply for a taxi Licence a medical examination should take place before the application stage and then when the renewal of your Licence is due.
An Ambulance Licence can be obtained at age 18 (route and distance restrictions apply). A full Licence can be obtained at age 21.
